OUR ORGANIZATION

Architecture Sans Frontières Liban (ASFL) is an organization that wishes to fulfill the environmental needs of vulnerable people living in Lebanon.

Created in 2021 by a group of Architects, Urban Designers, Landscape Architects, Project Managers and Sociologists, ASFL represents the humanitarian side to the architectural profession. All its members are socially responsible and committed.

عام 2021 أسّس عمارة بلا حدود لبنان فريقٌ من المعماريين ومصممي المدن ومعماريي المشهد ومدراء المشاريع وعلماء الاجتماع. والجمعيّة تمثّل الجانب الإنساني لمهنة المعمار، وكل أعضائها ملتزمون ومسؤولون إجتماعياً

OUR EXPERTISE

Our expertise lies in investing in community development through the design of a functional, comfortable, safe, and sustainable built environment.
We design buildings and manage projects, commit to research, consultation and innovation
Our design process targets community participation, which leads to the solutions best suited to the users.
Our project's cycle starts from defining needs and assessments to final project delivery.
All stages of design are addressed from the site and program analysis to preliminary design to the final design.
We address a multitude of varied projects, from community projects such as schools to designing open spaces for community needs.
We strive for quality in our design to best serve the community through an architecture, that can heal and bring people together creating healthier communities that promote human dignity and joy.

To ensure ASFL can constantly deliver on its mission to research, build, and advocate for an architecture that promotes justice and human dignity
To explore all limits with the aim of seeking and making a social impact design, finding new ways on how architecture can serve society, responding to basic needs and fulfilling basic rights.
